Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the Mirage platform operated by Mirage Recruiting GmbH (“Mirage“, “we“). By creating an account or using any platform feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use Mirage. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that do not comply.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@mirage.io if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to keep credentials secure.
3. Candidate Terms
As a candidate, you may create a profile, submit applications, participate in AI-assisted interviews, and access academy content and community features. You represent that all information you provide is accurate. You agree not to misrepresent qualifications, share your session access with others, or attempt to manipulate AI evaluation systems.
4. Company Terms
As a company subscriber, you may post roles, access candidate applications, initiate AI interview sessions, use scouting tools, and manage your employer brand. You agree to use candidate data only for recruitment purposes, comply with applicable employment law, and not contact candidates outside the platform for purposes other than the role they applied for.
5. AI-Assisted Interviews
Mirage uses AI voice interviews (powered by Google Gemini Live) as one signal in the hiring process. Interview sessions are transcribed and evaluated by AI models. Evaluation summaries are shared with the hiring company but AI scores are never shown to candidates. Mirage does not guarantee any employment outcome. AI decisions are advisory and human review is always available on request.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Interview Packages are consumed per session. Success fees are charged on confirmed hires at the rate defined in your plan. Overage packages are available at published add-on rates. You must maintain a valid payment method on file. We may suspend access for non-payment after 7 days notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform software, design, and content belong to Mirage Recruiting GmbH. You retain ownership of your personal data and content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Mirage a limited licence to process, display, and store it for the purpose of providing the service. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Mirage platform component without prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: scrape, crawl, or extract platform data by automated means; use the platform to discriminate based on protected characteristics; impersonate another user or entity; upload malicious code; or attempt to circumvent security controls. Violation may result in immediate account termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mirage's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or data loss.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
11. Accessibility
Mirage is committed to making its platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at accessibility@mirage.io and we will respond within 5 business days.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes via email or in-platform notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
